Job Description

We are seeking a reliable Stockroom Associate to support our client's first-shift operations in Gloucester, MA.

This is a long-term temporary Role

Schedule: Monday-Friday position, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM.

The role is 40 hours per week, with overtime available on weekdays and weekends.

Pay: $21/hour

The Stockroom Associate will work within the stockroom performing a variety of materials-handling and inventory-control tasks. Responsibilities include kitting parts for production and contract manufacturers, serving internal customers at the stock window, cycle counting, shelving and moving materials, and supporting physical inventories with accuracy and attention to detail.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Accurately kit components for manufacturing orders.

Stock, shelve, and relocate components, parts, and sub-assemblies.

Complete required paperwork for receipts and withdrawals.

Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure an organized stockroom.

Perform inventory transactions within the company's MRP system.

Provide customer service at the inventory/parts counter.

Accurately perform cycle counts and year-end physical inventory.

Collaborate effectively with stockroom and manufacturing team members.

Maintain good attendance and punctuality; follow attendance policies.

Wear required PPE.

Perform all other assigned duties.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Experience in materials or inventory control.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, OneDrive, and Word.

Experience using an MRP system for material transactions.

Ability to perform accurate part counts and use scales as needed.

Basic math skills.

Ability to follow instructions and manage priorities.

Ability to use material-handling equipment (e.g., pallet jack).

Ability to read and understand English.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
